Here’s a lovely peek at some of the goodies on offer from YSL’s upcoming Terra Saharienne collection. Focusing on sun kissed skin and bold pigmented colours, there’s a lovely mix of shades perfect for summer.
I was sent two products from the new collection, including the bronzing palette. It comes in three shades and the one I was sent, Sunkissed, is best suited to pale skin tones like myself.
Comprising of a muted pink, apricot and a subtle tanned tone, this gives a light flush of colour that even suited my really pale skin. Embossed with a beautiful python print and with an added SPF 12, this looks decadent and gives a lovely natural, healthy colour.
The shades above are heavily swatched to give an idea of each indiviudal colour but together offer just the right amount of colour for light skin tones. There are two other bronzers in the collection – ‘Tanned’ which is a sparkling golden brown and ‘Bronzed’ which is a matte tan bronzer perfect for sculpting the face. If you need this pretty palette in your life, it will set you back €55.
I was also sent one of the waterproof eyeliner pencils in Azure Blue which looks to be the shade used on the model in the first picture. This comes with a lovely little sharpener which is a real bonus.
The colour is incredibly pigmented, shimmery and vibrant and also really is waterproof and long-lasting. If you love your bright shades and are looking for products that will last all day, these are a perfect choice. These are €26 euro each.
The collection hits counters on June 21st, and can be found in most major department stores.
So do any of the collection take your fancy? Let me know!
Liner looks swanky!
It’s beautiful to use, super soft and pigmented!
Love the bold blue eyeliner! Is it smudge proof? Been looking for long lasting smudge proof and water proof eye liners in the market that work but have yet to find a good one :/ Recommendations?
I love Maybelline’s gel liner, it’s great! This one is nice and smudge proof once you let it set!
Thanks! (:
Love the look of the bronzing palette. You say it’ll suit pale skin… I’m proper Irish pale so do you think it’d be worth a go?
I’m super pale and it still looked lovely and natural!
You don’t know pale till you’ve seen me
Thanks Smokey Eyes.
Btw, just discovered your site, love it!
Ah thanks so much:)
