This brush is absolutely amazing. Go buy it now!
That’s all I really need to say but understand you lovely readers may want a slightly longer summary of Sigma’s F80 Kabuki Brush.
This synthetic brush is packed with incredible dense hairs which stay firm and in place while you apply foundation and work really hard to buff any base out to a gorgeous natural finish. All this, for under €20.
If you’re looking to get the best result from your foundation, BB Cream or tinted moisturiser you really need to try this. Use circular motions to blend and you’ll find that you don’t need to be a whizz with brushes, it’ll do all the hard work for you!
Sigma could honestly charge far more for such a superior product so it’s a testament to the company that they have made this an affordable purchase. Whether you have a whole host of make up brushes or are looking to invest carefully in a couple, I really can’t recommend this highly enough!
It can be bought online from the lovely folks at Cloud 10, along with the other gorgeous brushes in the Sigma range.
Pros: Animal Cruelty Free, very reasonably priced and just bloomin’ perfect.
Cons: I had to wait until 28 to discover it!
Score: 10/10
Would I buy again: I plan to for my make up kit for clients!
So what are your must have brushes??
I have this brush too and love it! Like you I only discovered it recently and am now completely in love with it
Ah fantastic I’ll definitely be trying out some more brushes from Sigma now!
I LOVE that brush! Out of the set of 3, I like this one better than the angled and round top ones. I think sigma brushes overall are okay…. I still prefer MAC brushes for eyes (Sigma is not as good) and Bobbi Brown for face. I think their face brushes are good. I was thinking about trying their synthetic brushes (they are really soft!)
Are the angled and round top ones not worth getting then?
I like the angled one better than the round top. I just find it sooo much easier to blend with the flat top. I think the angle one is good one to get. I would pass on the round top, it takes longer b/c it’s smaller surface… lol i’m all about the time savers
Ha me too! Thanks for the heads up!:)
Aww I love love love this review! Its got a real chatty feel about it. Glad you love the brush so much, love to hear that:) Yay ! for great tools:)
Ah thank you:) And double thank you for introducing me to it!
I’ve only ever used a typical foundation brush for applying liquid foundation. Does this work for liquids and powders? I have a Kabuki brush by Too Faced that I love for bronzing powder and am very intrigued if using another Kabuki for foundation would work too.
I use this with liquid foundation and it’s perfect, well worth investing in!
