Beauty News & Reviews
Hot cloth cleansers have become increasingly trendy in the world of skincare of late and while there are some great contenders out there, the brand that reviewers keep heaping the praise onto is Liz Earle. In fact, if you’re interested in the beauty world (which of course I am) it’s hard to ignore the amount of hype given to Liz Earle and their award winning products. So when I finally got the opportunity to review the king of the hot cloth cleaners, I had some high expectations. So were they met?
Firstly, sometimes the moment you use a product you know it’s made with care. This is a creamy, soft cleanser that has a wonderful smell of eucalyptus that makes your senses feel instantly energised. Along with eucalyptus oil, the cleanser is infused with a calming blend of cocoa butter, chamomile, rosemary, beeswax and vitamin B5. Crucially for dry skins, it also contains vegetable derived glycerin which attracts water, drawing it into the skin to aid hydration. This blend make it incredibly easy to use all over the face as well as on the delicate eye area without any irritation. For the best results, you should massage the cleanser all over dry skin and then remove with a muslin cloth that has been wrung out with hot water.
I loved using this, it really felt like it made my skin clean, calm and refreshed. I would happily use this each and every day and feel like my skin was in good hands. I also have a small bottle of the skin tonic which I use after and this acts as a light toner on the skin before you apply your serum and moisturiser. Also, with prices starting at €15.50 for a small sized bottle, it’s well priced for a superior product.
For me, it’s about keeping my skin happy and this really does so, yes folks, the praise and awards Liz Earle has gained for this product are completely deserved and you’re speaking to one very happy new convert.
